The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the latest in Ecovacs line of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This wet/dry model is equipped with the latest AIVI 3D2.0 lidar system Ecovacs, which gives enhanced mapping and obstruction-free operation. It uses dual laser LiDAR that is similar to that used in self-driving vehicles. It can scan an area that is up to 32 feet by 360 degrees. This results in more precise mapping, faster response times, and better cleaning accuracy.

It also comes with a rotating mopping pad constructed of chenille fabric, which makes it much easier to scrub difficult spots than traditional mops. In my tests, the X2 Omni washed its pad in less than a second and then got to work. I noticed that it was more accurate than other models, which seemed to follow the grid of rooms. It was able to navigate around corners and edges of my rooms as well as make "Zambani patterns" up and down the middle of the room. It returned to its OMNI Station regularly to empty the dustbin and clean the mop using hot water before beginning another cleaning task.

The X2 Omni was impressive in my tests. It scored well in the areas of pet hair removal and debris removal. It also was near-perfect in its results for crevices and edge cleaning.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

If you're looking for a strong combination of vacuuming and mopping look into the EcoVACS Deebot T10 Omni. It is the most sophisticated of the T-line from the company and comes with the OZMO Turbo2.0 mopping system, which uses dual-spinning brush for better cleaning than the traditional scrubbers. It also comes with YIKO integrated, a first-of-its kind natural language processing technology that lets it respond to a range of voice commands. However, the Deebot T10 Omni is a superb robot vacuum that delivers outstanding results in our tests for pet hair. It was able to vacuum up more than 96% of the dust we tossed at it our hardwood flooring and floors, which is a remarkable performance. It was a success on tiles and carpets, removing 99percent of dirt.

This robot vacuum and mop has an enormous docking station which offers cool water auto-cleaning for its mop pads, auto-emptying into a 3L bag that is easy to replace, and hot air drying for quick and easy maintenance. It also has a large reservoir of water that allows it to be rinsed and dried more often between mopping sessions.

This robot did well in our tests of hardwood floors and food particles. It picked up everything, from one rice grain to several pet food pieces in only one swipe. It had some trouble with rugs, but generally speaking the vacuum cleaner is ideal for large rooms that contain different flooring types as well as a mixture of pets.

It's not cheap but if you're able to manage the price, it's a great purchase for those who want to leave their home free to do other tasks or take care of chores. This budget-friendly robot from a renowned brand is the cheapest we've tested and provides exceptional value for the money. Its basic navigation system is based on a very basic random pathing algorithm, and it lacks the ability to map rooms. This makes it less efficient than the other models on this list. However, it's still able to reach under furniture and in corners, and its mopping mode performed well during our tests and was able to pick up pet hair and other debris with ease.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ isn't as robust as the Roomba S9, but it does a better job overall in getting rid of pet hair on all surfaces. It is more effective of cleaning carpets with low piles and floors that are not covered. It also uses smart-pathing navigational software for greater mobility. It can be positioned to a specific location, and comes with a range of advanced automation features including no-go zones and schedules. It even lets you to pause and resume a cleaning session, so it's perfect for households with pets.

Its self-cleaning brushroll prevents the tangles caused by pet hair and other debris and its bagless self-emptying dock station can hold up to 30 days worth of dirt prior to needing to be empty. It has a set of angled side brushes that can reach into corners and a multi-stage filter system that captures dust, allergens and dander.

The robot vacuum feels sturdy and well-constructed, and it has a smartphone app that lets you change its vacuum settings and schedule cleaning sessions ahead of time. The app allows you to view the remaining battery life of the iQ, and send push notifications in the event of any issues during the cleaning session. You can make use of your voice to control it using an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant device, and if you don't have either of those devices, you can mark areas with physical boundary strips.

The iQ excels in cleaning floors with no dirt, and it does a decent job on shaggy and low-pile carpets. However, it doesn't offer the same level of autonomy as our top choices. It's also costly, and its recurring costs can add up over time.
